Evaluation System

The review process is based on clear, transparent criteria.

 

The maximum score for an article is 50 points. An article will not be accepted if it scores below 26.

Article Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Content of the paper (maximum 10 points)

            Assessment of relevance and research objectives.

  1. Depth of analysis and quality of research (maximum 10 points)

           Includes thorough analysis, logical development, argumentation, and relevance of scholarly literature.

  1. Reliability of data (maximum 10 points)

           Checks whether research is based on primary sources and if all cited sources are referenced.

  1. Structure and reference style (maximum 10 points)

           Evaluates the organisation and whether references follow the APA style.

  1. Relevance of results (maximum 10 points)

           Assesses significance, novelty, and logical presentation of findings.

Evaluation:

  1. 1-25 - rejected
  2. 26-40 – recommended for revision and resubmission to the editors
  3. 41-45 – advised to return the paper to the editors after minor revisions
  4. 46-50 – accepted as submitted

 

The maximum score for translation is 30. The work will not be accepted if scored below 16.

Translation Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Lexical accuracy (maximum score - 10 points)

           There are checked: correct and precise translation of words/phrases, preservation of original meaning.

  1. Syntax and orthography (maximum score - 10 points)

           There are assessed: syntactic patterns, well-formedness of sentences, spelling, punctuation.

  1. Style appropriateness (maximum score - 10 points)

           There are checked: How the translation reflects the style of the author, maintenance of tone, style, correspondence to genre.

Evaluation:

  1. 1-15 – rejected
  2. 16-20 – advised to revise and resubmit
  3. 21-25 – recommended for minor revisions before resubmission
  4. 26-30 – accepted as submitted

 

Literary Sketch:

Maximum score – 30. The work will not be accepted if scored below 16.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Originality and creativity (maximum score - 10 points)

           There are checked: unique storyline and perspectives, engaging content

  1. Language and style (maximum score - 10 points)

           There are assessed: usage of vocabulary, stylistic devices, linguistic expressiveness of the literary sketch

  1. Coherence (maximum score - 10 points)

           There are checked: logical development, smooth transition, overall structure of the piece and its readability.

Evaluation:

  1. 1-16 – rejected
  2. 15-20 – advised to revise and resubmit
  3. 21-25 – recommended for minor revisions before resubmission
  4. 26-30 – accepted as submitted
