Peer Review Process

Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure impartiality, transparency, and academic quality.

  • Authors must submit two versions of their manuscript: one including the author’s full name and one with indication of their identity.
  • The reviewers receive only the anonymized version of manuscripts.
  • Neither the authors nor the reviewers are aware of each other’s identities.
  • Reviewers are affiliated with different universities, including both Georgian and international institutions
  • Editors do not participate in decisions regarding papers authored by their students or family members

Review Procedure

  • Submissions are initially screened by the editors for compliance with journal standards.
  • Approved manuscripts are sent to reviewers.
  • Reviews may be positive or negative and include recommendations.
  • Papers receiving a negative review are evaluated by a second reviewer.
  • In specific cases, the Editor-in-Chief may make a final decision in consultation with the editorial board.
