Abstract

This article is dedicated to an analysis of the origin and meaning of the English word "dark". It explores the translations of this word in other languages from the same meaning. It elaborates on the evolution of the term's significance from its primary to its secondary and idiomatic meanings. Additionally, the work discusses the various conversational styles in which the word "dark" is employed.
