No. 1 (2024): Philology (Students' Journal)
I am so happy to see another wonderful initiative from our Department come to life. Today, we celebrate the publication of the first edition of “Philology,” our new online student journal from the Department of English Philology at TSU.
What has impressed me most throughout this process is the sheer energy our students brought to the table. Watching them dive into their research and work so closely with reviewers and editors has been a joy. This first issue truly reflects the hard work, featuring work from students across all levels of English Philology and a featured translation from our Master’s in Translation Studies.
We are also proud that our Editorial Board is not just limited to TSU; it includes colleagues from across Georgia and international institutions. I hope this journal becomes a shared space where students from many different universities feel welcome to contribute and grow alongside ours.
I want to say a sincere thank you to:
Our young supervisors and reviewers handled their responsibilities with such professionalism and care. The creative and editorial team: Anano Endeladze, Marine Makhatadze, and Dr Nato Peradze, who were instrumental in shaping the journal’s identity and logo. Our technical team: Lasha Gagnidze, Salome Tsiklauri, and Ana Mtsituri, for their essential computer support. To our students: Congratulations on your first steps into the academic world. This is a proud moment for all of us.
